A few favorites for intentional giving.

A LITTE SOMETHING HANDMADE.

A LITTLE SOMETHING FAIR TRADE.

A LITTLE SOMETHING PROVIDING EDUCATION.

A LITTLE SOMETHING TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES.

Here a few of my favorite gifts for intentional giving.

This hand crocheted potholder by Danica Studio can be found locally at Golden and Pine along with so many other handmade, ethical home goods.

A fair trade chocolate bar from Divine Chocolates is a great one for teacher gifts and is co-owned by the 85,000 family farmer members of Kuapa Kokoo (a cooperative in Ghana that supplies the cocoa for each bar of Divine). As owners, they get a share in the profits and a voice in the company and the global marketplace.

Of course a personal favorite that is near and dear are the BananaLeaf soccer balls, a project my boys are working on in collaboration with the children of the Mityana village in Uganda. 100% of the proceeds go back to the children to aid in their school fees that many of the families cannot afford to pay. The soccer balls are handmade by the children of the village using banana leaf fibers.

Alaffia offers so many great products and below are some favorites. They fund a variety of empowerment projects and as a mission-focused business they form relationships with distributors who share the same ideals.
