Started off my spring with a a great class on home brew Kombucha taught by Stephanie from Well Bellies and Babies at the Unbakery and Juicery in Brookside. Excited to try my hand at home brewing and adding in homegrown herbs and fruits. I love that our old stomping ground has so many great places to explore. Heirloom is a favorite and they’ve now added a couple more gluten free options to the menu. This place is just around the corner from where we used to live and it’s probably a good thing that we moved – I would be dangerously broke! Across the street is another favorite Season + Square, a gourmet spice and home store that carries unique culinary finds (great for gift giving). They have a great selection of cocktail bitters, shrubs, and syrups and the decor is very inviting, layering antique pieces and reclaimed wood, in a modern clean layout. The decor pairs nicely with the graphics and packaging of all of their spices and other handpicked products.

I can’t wait to stop into Golden and Pine, a new home goods/garden store next to the Unbakery/Juicery that just had their grand opening on Saturday. I’ve been following along on their Instagram and can’t wait to take a peek at their artisan goods.

It’s also time to start thinking about where to buy Organic transplants. Here are a list of my favorites. Just click on the links to find out date/times.
