Just wanted to share a couple of plant sales coming up in the Kansas City area.

The Bad Seed will be offering their Annual Transplant Sale offering heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, herbs, flowers + more this Friday April, 20th from 4 pm -9 pm.  This is a great opportunity to buy quality organic transplants and speak with farmers and ask them your  organic gardening/planting questions.

Another great sale to hit this spring is the Herb and Wildflower Sale at the John Wornall House on Saturday April 28th from 9 am – 1 pm, locally grown from Missouri Wildflower Nursery.

For all of you readers outside of Kansas City I encourage you to do a little research and find out where you can find some organic transplants and locally grown native plants to add to your garden.

For a little planting inspiration take a look at the blog entry on the from me to you blog above on creating your own urban garden.  It started as simply planting one rosemary plant and has grown to much more.  His photography will truly inspire you to plant + grow, even if it is only a simple herb garden!

Earth day is coming up this Sunday.   Enjoy this week savoring some outdoor time and giving thanks for the beautiful earth we live on!
